    I got them in Orisson last year coming all the way from Le Puy en Velay. After washing everything 3x I gave up..bit I'd already walked 500 miles. Just keep washing and leave your pack outside so you don't leave critters at the other alberques. Be responsible. .that's the ethical thing to do...

    I cried when I entered Santiago from SJPP. I walked from Le Puy en Velay to SJPP last year and will finish in Santiago the end of May. It truely is a emotional journey that changes your being. I'm sure I will cry again.

    Finishing the Le Puy route in SJPP -- logistics/options? extra days?

    I took Ryanair to Marrakech for a couple of days...souks fun. (Happiest people I've ever seen on the planet). If coming from the states get on Eurorail or cheap airline and visit Budapest, Prague or any of the other places we studied in history. It helps to reimmerse and see other cultures.
