I know I saw a post on the forum before about this topic but I am struggling to find it.
I believe there is a way mark at Porto airport - if this is the case, can I find the Central Route easily?
Many thanks
David
Happy Christmas first of all.
I have flights booked for another stroll from Porto in September.
I think I will take the central route this time. having walked the coastal twice.
I want to walk the Ingles from A Coruna again so I might travel up from Tui - we shall see.
Anyway, lots of time...
I walked from Porto to Santiago in April. I have just completed writing about my experience if you would like to read.

I look forward to walking again in September when I walk the meseta.
Buen Camino!
David
I have been away from the forum for some time although I have been lurking.
I walked the Portuguese Coastal route from Porto in April and enjoyed that. I have some leave left and will sneak in a week on the meseta this September.
I am in the planning stages for the Via de la Plata from...
I have stayed here a few times. I had lunch here in September 2021 and chatted to its owner. No sign that it was going to close. Appeared very sudden.
I really enjoyed Hostal Alfonso VI when I was there. https://www.gronze.com/castilla-y-leon/leon/sahagun/hostal-alfonso-vi
I am trying to do the same for next year. My flight arrives into Bilbao @ 4 pm from Dublin.
I can see two options - a) Union de Alvesa bus to Pamplona and bus out to Estella or
b) Alsa / Cuadra bus to Logrono and bus to Estella.
Autobus Jiminez is a handy little service.
Either way, it will be...
I am back from Santiago three weeks and I have today booked my flights to return to the Camino Portugués for April 2023.
A long ways away but something to look forward to.
Until then, I can keep writing up my posts after my most recent Camino.
Bom Caminho!
I'm a bit late to the virtual Camino party.
I'm sure most of you have seen this but another YouTube user has recorded his entire Camino Francés from 2018.
Playlist here:
Each Etapa is 5 hours long.
Enjoy!
Hi Chipaway. How are you?
There is the Kerry Camino, a 3 stage Camino in south west Ireland that ends in Dingle

You receive a certificate, very much like after walking into Santiago.
Give me a shout if you need any other information

Episode 7 of the Clearskies Camino podcast is live - I'm delighted to be joined this week by Canadian pilgrim Samantha Plavins. In May and June of 2019, Samantha walked the Camino Francés with a question: “Who am I really?” and returned with a different outlook on life. I hope you enjoy...
Good evening all.
I hope you are all well.
I have been writing at ClearskiesCamino.com for the last 8 years so I am tentatively dipping my toes into the podcast river.
Please feel free to listen at www.anchor.fm/clearskiescamino.
Buen Camino from Ireland!
David
Since a trip to Spain is out of the question this year, I walked a while with some pilgrim friends at home in Dublin. It was the first time I had seen them since lockdown in March.
