I arrived that day at 15 o'clock in Santiago, saw to much people over there, went for a beer and came back at 17, had to wait for my Compostela 5 minutes! So, be flexible and you will have both! Buen Camino!
I am in Burgos now and I will skip it, take the bus to León tomorrow. Reason: do'nt have time to do it all, prefer to walk to Finisterre after Santiago, I allready walked more than 1200 km from Vezelay to Burgos now, and moreover: there is no "must"! It's all beautiful and amazing.
WoW, that looks goed and can be very helpfull! First I want to read more cause of the registration and privacy, but I think I am going to use it. Thanks and buen Camino!
Thanks, I always take a letter from my doctor when I travel, but I did not knew that Medipas you are talking about. On the internet I found a Dutch Medipas but it is not a certification that you are allowed to take the Medicines with you and it has no translations. Or do you mean the European...
Thank you! Yes, I always take that with me when I travel, I also use the app on my iPhone with my healt information, it is very useful too!
Thank you very much, I did not think it would be so easy, is it your own experience?
Hallo,
I want to start my Camino from Vezelay in april 2017 (walked earlier from Holland to that place), do not walk very fast so it can take me about 3 months away from home. I have to use quite a lot of medicines and I do not want to take it for such a long time, moreover there will be also...
I follow this too. Start in May at Vezelay, allready walked from the North of Holland to that place. Hope to be there in July/August. We (a friend and I) walked about 1000 km nearly without meeting other pelgrims. A bit afraid for overwhelming crowds now.
Hi Nola, I walk in parts, two times a year I walk together with a friend for a week or something. Maybe in a few years I can take a sabbatical from work and walk a few months. Are you going to walk the whole camino in may? Would be nice to follow your experience, buen camino!
Hi Fatma, thank you for your response. What you descripe is what we started to do, we discovered the Via Campaniensis when we passed Rocroi and were planning to change to that path. In the meantime I discovered it's more straight than the Gr. 654. For us it's also easy that the guidebook is in...
Hi Smallie, thank you for the beautiful poem, hope to meet you on the camino. Still wondering, are we the only ones that walk through Belgium and France via Vezelay to Santiago? Are there others? And if there are, can they give us advice about the camino between Rocroi and Vezelay? I am from...
Hi, we walk from the North of Holland to SdC via Vezelay, we arrived in Rocroi and have to make the choice between the "Voie de Vezelay, Gr. 654" or the newer "Via Campaniensis" that is shorter. Who can five us advice?
