I alternated every few days between those sandals and Brooks Cascadia trekking shoes and didn't have any blisters or foot issues. The Keen sandals are so comfortable!
Hi Curtis, 43 days is a great gift of time for you to spend a few days in Paris, enjoy your Camino, spend some time in Santiago and travel to Madrid and enjoy some days there too! Buen Camino, Pete
We left SJPdP at 7 AM and arrived in Roncevalles at 6 PM. We are mid 50's in good shape and took our time, stopped frequently and snacked/hydrated often. We were very cautious on the trails with loose slippery shale, which just means it takes a little longer. We didn't want to be the pilgrims...

I wore Brooks Cascadia trail shoes and every few days switched to my Keen sandals, never had a problem or a blister. Wear what you're comfortable with and you'll be fine. Buen Camino!
We walked Sept. 7 to Oct. 10 2014, I wore shorts and light tee shirts the entire time with a light long sleeve top in the mornings. My wife wore leggings and light tops, it rained off and on the last week to ten days and we slipped on the rain gear as needed. Buen Camino! Pete

Count me as another Schwab user, four trips abroad without any problems or issues. ATM fees get refunded and I believe there are no foreign transaction fees. Buen Camino!
Hi Darren, the only trouble we had leaving the big cities was in Ponferrada. They were doing lots of work on the streets and sidewalks on the way out of town which may have kept us from seeing the markers and we were always questioning whether we were heading in the correct direction, which we...
