    I am walking in Aug/Sep next year and at the end I was planning on taking the traing back to Madrid. The bus and plane may be cheaper but I am quite looking forward to relaxing a bit more on my way back to Madrid, and I feel the opportunity to see a bit more of rural Spain outweighs the quicker...

    I finally have a start date for my Camino, booked my flight from the UK last night. Fly to Madrid on 02/08, then a train to Pamplona and the bus to SJPdP. So excited!! Just need a good pair of walking shoes for christmas then the real training can begin.

    John, Well done with your training so far. I'm yet to officially start mine but as I'm not walking the Camino until around August '14 then I have a bit more time. I love your idea of leaving stones from family and friends along the route, it's inspired me to do something similar on my own...
