Realizing we can look online at temps and conditions from the past, does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions regarding our beginning from St. Jean PDP in early April? Is this wise? We do not want to be trekking through snow/ice.
Thanks in advance for any "intel."

A very sweet lady from France gave me two Compeed bandages and they were a lifesaver! I was fortunate enough to literally run into the woman again in Madrid's train station and was able to thank her again for her generosity and concern. I'm a believer!
If you want a treat, you might consider Casa Do Rego, which is about a km or so out of Ferrerios (between Sarria and Portomarin). It's a small operation, with only 3 bunk beds (6 people). It's squeaky clean, too! The bar and restaurant are also worth mention. The wines were very tasty...
Hi, Tanya!
While I agree with the other responses, another thing to consider: Don't wear rings! If you do, you might consider some that seem much too large.
We will be arriving by train in Leon on Sunday, September 7th at 6 pm. Do you think we will be able to find lodging at one of the albergues at that "late" hour? How about our getting our Camino passports on a Sunday at that time?
Thanks!
