    I’ve seen Credentials with a first stamp from the parish of the pilgrim: USA, Japan, Italy, etc. Some people even stamp it along the voyage to the start of the walk. Airports, trains, hotels. In reality we start the pilgrimage the moment we close our house door.

    No, it’s not. It’s just a souvenir. Very nice one though. You can have one and stamp it along the way. But not good for receiving the Compostela.

    Beilari, right in front of the Pilgrim's Office, was named L'Esprit du Chemin. The one called Le Chemin Vers L'Etoile it's another albergue, always by that name, at 21, Rue d'Espagne.

    The credencial from the Pilgrim's Association Via Lusitana is only available at the Sé Cathedral in Lisboa, not in Porto. So far the Porto's Cathedral has not expressed an interest in having them available.

    No Bombeiros at Alpriate. The Bombeiros in Alhandra were not accepting pilgrims, although sometimes they do. Don't make plans to stay there. Of course you can try, but no assurance they will accept you.

    Yes Laurie. The Albergue in Alpriate will open March 18. There's a man in town who might rent a room with a double bed. Ask at the Café. Pilgrims have to keep walking 8 more km until Verdelha. :(
