    @Peter Aulbury My plan is to not plan so much :-) but I have 7 week so 20km per day at least in the beginning then I will decide along the way, my first day I will stop in orisson.

    I will start in st Jean in late August and hopefully walk into Santiago de Compostela 7w later. I'm really looking forward to this big adventure that I've been dreaming about for so many years

    When I walk the camino I want to be totally offline, I don’t want to bring any technical gadgets, not even a phone. But do I need a phone? Is it a must for booking Albergues or is it just "good to have” like in case of emergency? what´s your experience?
