I installed the gronze app, but prefer a different app where I normally import gpx files. So if somebody still has the gronze gpx files, I really would prefer these.
I'm looking for Via Podiensis GPS tracks. There used to be good ones on the Gronze website, but they don't have them online anymore. Maybe somebody downloaded them before and can share them?

I warn you. You will probably suffer from the "Zubiri-Downhill-Syndrome" and just want to lick your knees when (if) you arrive there. This descent is a knee-killer!
I walked down to Zuburi in 2014 (I was 48 then). Perfect weather, no problem with tripping. But be warned: I saw some people, including me, who had severe problems with their knees walking down there. I had such pain, that I thought already about giving up my Camino... And I never had problems...
I really did, some years ago. And we are still together. I live in Germany, she lives in Spain, which became my second home. We did some caminos so far.
Normally we meet each other regularly, but since corona, it's not so easy to travel. But, that's how it is...

I just came back from the Camino del Norte. Walked from Irún to Bilbao. If you have problems with your knees, don't do it. There are a lot of passages going up and down quite hard. Sometimes not so easy terrain. Could be a real torture for your knees.

I don't know about hotels in Madrid, but I just did the same ride from Madrid to Villafranca. I don't think there is a train, but instead we took the Alsa bus. The cost was about 30 euros, and the ride took almost six hours but was more or less comfortable.
