    700 km, which route?

    Have you considered the Camino Labienago from Ponferada to Santiago? Its well marked and very few pilgrims. Its a great way to walk into Santiago without all the crowds.

    My daughter started with Altra lone peaks last year. She loved them during her training but in Santo Domingo she switched to Keen sandals as she had some serious ankle and Achilles issues. I know everyone in the states swears by them but I don't see it either. I always wear boots on the Camino...
