I was looking for cups at Eight Rooms in Logroño I saw this bag on the floor. This is not generally where bags are left so I thought I might post this just in case someone is looking for their backpack. I also contacted the transport company.🎒
I have booked an apartment in Viana for the night of 18 April and I cannot stay there. If anybody’s interested, please contact me because they will not refund my money so I’m looking for someone to fill the apartment and recoup my costs. Has a 9.2 rating. 80 Euros. It is a two bedroom apartment...
You would think after all these years
of flying from Oregon to Madrid
that I would understand
the time difference.
But I awoke from a dead sleep
this morning in a panic,
as I remembered seeing something
on my reservation app for my flight.
I jumped out of bed, opened the app,
and there is was...
Someone in another forum said the Botafumeiro swung at Easter Mass yesterday.
I had heard it was being repaired with no idea when it would be fixed.
Is it back up and functioning again?
In past years, when we walked from Samos to Sarria, there was simply a yellow arrow that went off to the right of the highway, up a hill, past a pig farm then a sharp left turn at a small church.
The last time I walked there was a turn off to the right, up the highway further and it was well...
I just need to vent here a minute. I've been booking lodgings for my next Camino (not my group, but my own).
I would like to ask people who post reviews, especially on pilgrim sites such as Gronze, to remember where they are and what they are there for and THINK about what they are saying?
I...
I have never seen this statue!
A pilgrim "drinks" from his gourd when you drink from the fountain.
Can someone tell me exactly where this is and approximately how far from Astorga it is?
Thanks.
Since our earliest Caminos, Joe and I have stayed with the wonderful Benevente family at El Refugio Hosteria in Rabanal del Camino. Cristina and Antonio have always been so kind to us as pilgrims. Their sister, Pilar, has been serving as chef the past few years. The whole family just works so...
I was just poking through YouTube tonight, looking for anything interesting to watch,
and I happened upon this beautiful familiar face, Hospitalera Marina!
In 2006, on our first Camino, Joe and I stayed at San Anton.
The hospitalera was serving there on a sad occasion - the regular...
Well, I ordered a new ALTUS and by mistake I ordered a M/L.
I really prefer an XL.
I'm in Oregon - if anyone is interested in buying this from me.
Brand new - never worn except to try it on.
Make me a fair offer.
This fellow Jay posts the BEST videos showing the actual track and villages of the Camino of any I've seen on YouTube.
I followed him all the way from SJPP to Santiago and was really impressed.
Unlike many videos which are selfies, selfies, selfies, he takes film of the track and the villages...
I've never taken the bus from Pamplona to SJPP. I always taxi.
Can anyone tell me specifically where the bus that goes from Pamplona to SJPP drops the pilgrims off?
Has anyone here ever had surgery for an epiretinal membrane (pucker?)?
Was it successful?
Would you do it again?
Does it affect your walking?
I've apparently developed one and I believe this is what caused me to take a fall on my last Camino, as I was walking on flat roadway and there was...
I've booked the tree house at Albergue Jakue for my May Camino this year.
I need to find a bed for one of my pilgrims and I'm wondering if the extra bed is in the same room as the matrimonial?
Or is it in a separate room?
Does anyone have photos of the two beds?
Thanks!
Annie
