    Dangerous dog before Triacastela

    Sorry to hear this Jo, I absolutely love dogs , however years ago I was attacked by strays and when making plans to walk the Camino this was a concern, kept my poles in my hands all the time! Thankfully only needed to use them once . Enjoy the rest of your Camino Jo.

    I couldn't agree more, it was because of this book I visited Corfu in the early 80's. Never been back, hopefully one day.

    Thanks for info, sounds lovely. Haven't been back to Corfu since 1985, only went there after reading My Family and Other Animals. Maybe one day I'll get back again.

    I walked a week 2 years ago, alone, however it really was difficult to be totally by yourself, there are always people behind/ahead of you. I joined 2 other girls and it was great to have companions.
