Walked from Tui to Porriño on 8th April this year. We saw a lot of signs of the new route, the nature reserve. We didn't know what to do. Stayed on the Camino until the restaurant in Orbenlle. We got lovely Spanish omlettes and the waiter recommended us to go the nature reserve route. He said it...
Since I've been back from SdC, I've the bug for adventure/walking holidays and I've booked the Kerry Camino: 1 - 4 May 2015 from Tralee to Dingle. It will be a group adventure, although I know nobody doing it. Looking forward to it!
Just a question?
Is it far from Valenca to Tui. We are getting transport from Santiago to Tui, but maybe in would be nicer to start on the Portuguese side and walk from there. We are staying in Tui overnight. Any recommendations?
Thanks everyone for the replies. Although I will be bringing the phone, I won't be depending on it, just for emergencies and all my friends want me to send a little souvenir of my pilgrimage to Santiago. Thanks for all the tips and for the words to ask for the stamps!

I'll be walking from Tui to Santiago de Compostela between 7- 14 April. Just wondering if there will be Post Offices in the towns I'll be going through? So many of my friends want me to send a postcard while on pilgrimage!
I'm planning my journey since 2013 and finally will be going from Tui to Santiago in April 2015. Does anyone have a recent image of the Cathedral? Would like to see it so I prepare for the scaffolding!

Emailed the Prior of the Franciscans in the Santiago region as it says on the website that celebrations will last until July 2015. I got a reply:
Pax et bonum, ANNE:
It´s ok. In the church (San Francisco), near the cathedral.
Buen Camino.
Just was on Facebook and the Camino Portugues Association mentioned about the Cotolaya. I thought this was only available for 2014. Is it available this year? I would love to receive this as I am a novice of the Secular Franciscans.
Only 8 weeks and 3 days to the start of our Camino. I will be walking with my sister, Mary. We are starting in Tui. Cannot hardly wait. This is our first Camino trip.
Yes I am flying to Santiago and will be organising to get a bus transfer to Tui or Valencia. I've organised flights through a travel agent and she's helping with the bus transfer too!
I would like to attend mass every day while on the Camino. These are all our stops. Can you advise me mass times in the following places. Thanks in advance.
Tui
Porriño
Redondela
Pontevedra
Caldas de Reis
Padron
Santiago de Compostela
I will walk the Camino Portugues with my sister and once I arrive in Santiago I will be travelling on my own. Is it safe and would there be a route you'd recommend to go to Muxia or Finisterre first and how many days should it take?
