    Having just read a thread "Crossing the Pyrenees", I read a post by a member re- the wild ponies being bred for meat.. Are the Mérens horse (Pyrenean wild pony) not now a protected species??? Please someone tell me they are!!!

    Thank you Pilgrims for the input...Pacerpoles it is.. now whether to order the 2 section or 3 section... alloy or carbon??? Think it´s going to be the 3 section in case they need to be packed at some point... and the carbon is lighter... Anyone have any preferences between alloy and carbon and...
