    Had defibrillator implanted end of October and on 16 Jan walked Ferrol - Santiago - Finisterre. No problems with pack at all. Similar sized "box" to pacemaker. Good luck

    Via de la Plata Oct 2022

    Hi in 2014 Oct was +30C for first 10 days. Water was an issue on 2 days. Beautiful none the less. Went via Astorga and snow at o Cebrio.

    The route to Astorga is VERY quiet but enjoyable. Worth doing. I found the local people very friendly. Not one other pilgrim found.

    How does Marmot compare to Patagonia?

    Hi i tried two Marmot jackets.bothleak after about 40 mins. Marmot changed the first reluctantly. I kept the second and tried everything that they suggested. Tech wash followed by nikwax followed by the dryer. After 30 mins water stops beading and after 40 minutes i get damp. Will go back...

    Via de la Plata or Camino de Madrid

    In 2014 walked via de La plata through Astorga. On my own from Granja to Astorga then very busy to Santiago. 2016 on Sanabre. Quiet in the day but company for dinner. Both very enjoyable. Train from Madrid airport to Zamora easy.
