What do you recommend for footwear and sleeping bag that will not break the bank

oh,...... and I should mention, as others have mentioned to me,......... don't sweat the small stuff. High heels likely won't work, but people have been walking this camino for generations. Grab a pair of any good walking shoes and you will find your way to Santiago. where are you located?

From California to Camino! Starting June 1st, 2015 :)

josie, it's either $3 or $4 per per person to use the park. If you walk all the time, it's cheaper to pay $40 for the household for the yearly pass. FYI. maybe we'll run into you out there.

my wife and I live in Temecula. We have been hiking every weekend up at the Santa Rosa Plateau. it's gorgeous, and the terrain is varied, so you get a bit of a workout while training. It's a bit of a drive for you, but thought I would share the option.

Flying into CDG on April 28 2015

Stephen, my wife and I just got back from a trip to Paris and the process of getting through customs was brief. I would guesstimate that from landing to exiting the airport was about 45 minutes. My only suggestion is that you research in advance, a secondary train departure time so that you can...
