    Getting poles from Santiago

Hi lovely people I am doing the fisterra from santiago with a small group of people, some first time pilgrims. Is there a place in santiago where people donate their walking poles that my friend can buy to use, then donate back? We will arrive on Sunday morning to start walking on Monday Thanks

Has anyone walked the route from Malaga this year?

Yes, did in April tp May this year with a friend or 2. Very quiet, another peigrina every day or 2. Places that have hostel accommodation, access via council or police station very welcoming. Otherwise variable levels of if they're open, (where they are, oh gone to town and won't be back till...

Hi, I walk with the same size rucsac and this is what I would do Buy some very light dry bags, like sea to summit, then you can squeeze air out. Do I need to pack waterproof trousers & jacket?

Personally, I take a light plastic tourist poncho, and buy a big umbrella 🌂 if I need it. Love these spanish umbrellas, big enough to cover the rucsac too

    Absolute Bare Minimum Packing List

So, I would take 2 dresses rather than tops and bottoms I actually take 3. A light scarf instead of towel is more versatile. Cashmere cardigan, and a light tourist poncho. No way would I sleep without a liner, myself and out of respect to others. If you have a silk liner, you can put a...
