Toulouse to SJPdP - March or August

I would myself prefer end of august as starting period from Toulouse. It's a wonderful itinerary. In Oloron you have a choice ,either go to SJPP on the well known Camino Frances (remember that SJPP to Roncesvalles is a very long and steep stage ) or switch to the Camino Aragones thru Col du...

Getting better, no cough,no temp but still a bit fatigued. Thinking about the Camino ,would say spending days or weeks in public places is probably a bit of a risk...even using private accomodations am not sure it's enough to keepe the bug away. Only in one expensive b&b we were keppt out of...

We're just back from 18 days on the Camino Frances we walked using private accomodations all the time . Last day in Astorga we were coughfing and feeling fatigued. A test a taken as soon as we returned confirmed we were postive (we're vaccinated and boosted). Possibly the spread of Covid was...

2nd Camino - Repeat CF or try something new?

As many have said CF has a very unique type of appeal. After that ,to relive long distance pilgrimage you can pick Le Puy ,Norte or Via de la plata, each one of them having some similarities with CF but also great differences . Otherwise, depending upon the time you have, you could start in...

Le Puy or Arles via the Via Francigena?

Hi John, i believe that going to Rome would bring you into a sort of 'cul de sac' considering your intent to get to Casablanca. It looks like you can do this only by going to Spain and then continue south. In this case the only way out of Rome would be walking back the Via Francigena to Sarzana...

    Santiago To Rome

There you are on the Via Francigena branch coming from France that will join in Vercelli the other branch coming down from Switzerland St.Bernard...
