    Thanks Todd Agree about Shirley Maclaine’s book but I did enjoy Jack Hitt’s book especially the bit about the mad hospitalero which I thought was too extreme in the The Way. Have just ordered Finding Santiago from Amazon. Too long away from the Camino.

    River Route or Aqueduct to Rates from Vila Do Conde

    Hi we took the aquaduct route or tried to and got hopelessly lost. Had to be rescued by a Good Samaritan who took us by car to Rates. Next time we take the coastal route. But it was memorable and either decision will work out in the best Camino tradition!!

    Hi I am walking Le Puy to Santiago and meeting my wife in St Palais just short of St. Jean. Is it possible to pick up a credencial there (we will be hopefully staying in Maison Franciscaine) or should I get her one in Le Puy or St. Jean. Thanks for any advice.
