We took a bus from Santiago to Muxia, two days in Muxia and then on to Finisterre, bussed back to Santiago from Finisterre. I thought the buses were excellent, everyone you ask seems to know where and when, because both towns are quite small. Loved both villages!

We waited until we got to Burgos and then planned when we wanted to arrive back in Santiago, given that we wanted to spend our last three days in Muxia/Fisterre. Travel agents in Burgos and in Santiago were very helpful at booking us in Muxia and back to Madrid. Train from Santiago to Madrid...
