Last year I walked from SJPP to Santiago and found Sarria onwards crowded and a little overwhelming. Is the Portuguese central quieter and especially the last 100ks ?

Just a view on this hotel. We had a disgusting room. Damp bed linen ,worn out mattress,smelly and horrible. The bathroom appeared to be a converted cupboard and was virtually unusable. No garden or other facilities. Do not stay here and O Cebreiro is not a good place to stay full stop...
I am travelling to St Jean pdp on the 7th May 2016 via Gatwick to Bordeaux. It seems as cheap and much faster to get a private transfer if 3 or 4 people can share. Is anybody arriving in the morning at Bordeaux Airport ? Does anyone have the name of a good transfer company? Thanks , Richard.
