Once met a pilgrim on the Camino Frances between Leon and Villar de Mazarife and asked him why he was walking back as I did not realize at that time that people walked it the opposite way. His reply was: "There is no back on the Camino". Must say it made me think ... Happy walking to you albeit...
I walked the Meseta alone in late August 2016 It was incredibly hot so do take enough water. I thanked God and the Spaniards for every tree that was planted alongside the senda for shade
