Detour to Braga
A festival in ponte de Lima caused us to detour to braga ( no rooms!!). We are trying to decide whether to take the central route from braga to ponte de Lima or go back to Barcelos and head to ponte de Lima. What is the distance from braga to PDL and is it well marked? Madrid airport connection to Porto
We are beginning our Camino in Porto. Iberia airlines has a flight from Boston to Madrid to Porto, with 1 hr 5 minute layover in Madrid. As a US citizen, won't I have to clear customs or passport control before going on to Porto? I'm worried that is not enough time. Our other option is a longer...- MQB

Footwear on the Portuguese
I went to a presentation last night and the young woman wore sneakers aka running shoes for the Camino Frances as well as the entire Appalachian trail!
