I'm happy with my decision to put the stamps on the back of the credential, some of the most special ones are there actually, including two wax stamps. I'm fine with turning the credential around to see the rest of the stamps and it's been fun because some family are really enjoying seeing the...
Buen Camino Laurie, I hope that you have no need for either item but how great to have them. I had a whistle but I hadn't thought of bringing my tick remover. Thanks for the tips :)
Staying in a beautiful wee place, Santa Irene, outside Pedrouso. The weather has not been as wet as the forecast would have us believe, hopefully tomorrow will be the same. See you soon.
Hi all, I thought I'd ask if there's any plan for an informal forum meetup as I'm going to be in Santiago on May 19th, 20th and poss 21st.
I know that meetups happen from time to time and thought that it was worth checking before I get there :)
:) My hat blew off as I approached this guy some time in the last ten days on a misty and windy morning, I was lucky to pin it down with my walking pole

Hi Nicky, unfortunately I have a double bed booked, I knew that it would be my last chance for privacy for the next while.
Would love to meet up in the morning if possible as I thought that I'd do the Evolution museum in arrival on the 12th and leave the cathedral for the walk out on the...
Believe it or not I'm allergic to the humble spud, I know that it's very unpatriotic of me as an Irish person ;) I also try to avoid wheat (because I feel better without it) however I'm open to eating whatever is in front of me most days and be grateful for it.
My plan is to get whatever I...
@Anniesantiago I really enjoyed reading your blog piece, lots of great ideas for breakfast and I loved the info on the variety of coffee, I think that Spain must be much like Portugal in that way.
One of your descriptions especially made me smile at the thought of pouring iced coffee over...
Gossamer Gear make lightweight backpacks that are designed so that the hip belt can be removed and interchanged within much of their range, one of the benefits of this is that they also make different length hip belts. They are an American producer of hiking gear and will ship internationally...
