I am on track to start from Irun in August but would like to hear from those who have gone before me, the best way to get to Irun. Is it from Paris, Madrid or somewhere else?

I will start from Merida in April and am planning on not taking my sleeping bag - just the silk liner. I walked the Camino Portuguese in 2016 and never used it.
What do other's who have walked this route think?

i am planning another Camino from mid April 2018. I will have 5 weeks to complete. I do not want to walk the Camino Frances but one of the others. I did the full Camino Portuguese a year ago.
What do you recommend please, paying attention to the weather at that time of the year.
