    I just walked it this past July/August with a friend and we averaged 40€ each a day with upgrades to a private room w/ or w/o bath and a real budget stretcher of 73€ in Barcelos didnt keep track of food and drink but my best guess would be 20-25 a day eating and drinking VERY well .YMMV

    Likely it's mostly due to topography, the first 3-5 days seemed the most challenging, although the stage going over hospitals or pola was also something to contend with. But if you had no issues with the Inglés you ought to be ok just train for hills as much as you can pre Camino!
