Advice on packing, i.e. medicine/1st aid, etc
In a week's time I will fly to Spain to walk the VdlP, starting 16 May. I need advice with regards to packing. I gathered somewhere on the forum that I will have to pack my walking poles in a box/tube since I will not be able to take it on-board in the backpack. I believe my Swiss army knife...- anita

Crime on VdlP
I will be walking the VdlP from mid May. Living in Johannesburg a bit of paranoia re safety is part of daily life. I am thus not put off by the references to crime on the forum - actually very low % - but can people that have walked de VdlP in 2010/2009 perhaps give some feedback if any such...- anita

walking via de la plata in may - july
Hi, i need some advice please. Will be walking the VdlP starting late May 2010. Using the 2004 book of Cole and Davies to do my planning. However, might be outdated in terms of costs and albergue/hotel names. Any recent walkers can you please assist? Anita- anita
