What if you book a tour company for the first week, or just a few days if that’s possible, then you should have the confidence to continue the Camino on your own after having chatted to other Pilgrims along the way.

I am so jealous of those who live near Spain and can do an emergency Camino, I’d come up with a good reason for that every year, but from Australia it has to be a planned holiday 😔. Next time no supplements for the body, just rely on getting fitter as I walk and minimal clothing.
Just be aware that some of the municipal Albergues may not accept delivery of your bag. First time we sent a pack was to the Municipal in Navarette (2018), but they refused to accept it, so the transport company left it at a local café. Unfortunately the Municipal staff told us the wrong café so...
