Thanks. It's actually between shoulder and breast. I'll go in to REI and see what adjustments they can help me with. Your response about too smuch might be the problem.
Happy Friday
I will be heading to Irun in less than a month. I have purchased the cho pat knee pads that fit around the entire knee. A few days ago I tried them out on part of the Peruvian Inca trail. They seemed to work, but they got super sweaty and left marks on my knees. I have an appt with...
We have planned about 30 days from Irun via Primitivo to Santiago. We have about 6 days buffer. We would like to choose towns/cities that are quaint and not to be missed. We heard San Sebastian is a must see, but we could skip Bilbao (except for the museum).
Would love your opinions.
Thanks!
Thank you! I did see the Alpinista route - thought very hard to get details on the varying routes. But it looks like while a little more challenging especially the descend( yes afraid of heights), the scenery, if not raining, is spectacular!
Thank you for this information. Can you explain why many folks don't go through the town of Larruskain? I understand their is a steep cliff later on but it seems much shorter. Thank you in advance

Hi Everyone,
I keep reading all the posts about your experiences. Thank you so much, I've taken notes and am learning each day. Question - we plan to start in Irun mid-May and then join the Primitivo trail. We plan on about 4 weeks, knowing it might take longer. If you were going to spend a...
Help me understand. ;) If you're going from Santona (after the ferry drops you off ) to Guemes - it seems like a direct route, or is this incorrect? Why would you go up north to Noja and then back down to Guemes? thanks!
I hope you can help, I've spent hours and hours trying on backpacks with weights of 15lbs and 20lbs. I recently tried an Osprey Kyte 46 with 20 lbs and it seemed to work well, but the shoulder straps might be hitting my armpits too much as I was not aware until the REI staff mentioned it to me...
