Thanks WisTom. I'm thinking now of Seville to Salamanca now and I'm just about to book the flights. Yes, the feedback I'm getting is the weather's good and they'll be places to stay so it'll be fine. I've done 5 Caminos before so I 'know how it works' and my Spanish is OK. Did you do the whole...
Has anybody walked this route at this time of the year (last week in February 1st 2 weeks in March)?. If so are there albergues open and are the conditions OK?
Thanks
Hi Mainpilgrim!. Well, it was all very straightforward Tbh. It's easy to join the Camino Norte from the airport (turn left outside the terminal building) It's about 2km just look at Google maps and the Camino Norte App. I walked about 28km on the 1sr day. In fact I completed the Camino in 11...
Best on your own Tom, you'll love it although it's one on my list which I had booked to do in 2020 then along came COVID. I'm doing a section of the Norte in April which will be my 5th Camino. Looking forward to your blogs
Hahaha. I walked the Primitivo for 4 days with a crazy Catalan doing 40/50km a day. It was really good. He wanted to walk the Del Norte in 16 days but COVID stopped us trying. I'm very happy it did.
It looks really good but it could be in the middle of my stage between Mondededo and Vilalba but I will see. Thanks you for your recommendation I will make a not of it?. You walked from Irún to Santiago in 14 days? Wow
Hi Josefus, I'm 62 and am very walking fit and on past Caminos have managed 30km+ a day so I expect to achieve this. My plane is booked on day 14 so I hope to comfortably make it. Thank you for your message
So my 5th Camino starts in a couple of months and I'll be walking out of the airport a couple of Km south and joining the del Norte just below the iglesia parroquial de Santiago del Monte where I hope to get my 1st stamp on the passport unless I can get one in the airport? I'll then walk on to...
This is brilliant information Bradypus and I applaud you for the walk you did. It must have been a brilliant experiance and one I want when I do it. How long did it take you overall?
Peter
Thank you Tia, I am coming to the conclusion slowly that this may be my best route and I am researching this. I want to walk a lot in France but not from Calais to Paris. I think I can get a ferry from Portsmouth to Saint Marlow.

Having walked several caminos now I'm seriously thinking of 'the ultimate' Camino by foot from my house in Derby to Santiago. So my question is....has anyone done anything similar before from their house in the UK and if so, can we talk please?
Obviously the Spain bits fine and no doubt I could...
Hi Frank. I'm with you all the way on that one! I walked the Frances in April and May this year from SJPP and we may have even met at some point? Wasn't it brilliant?. I live in Detby and walk with the Derbyshire Dales Ramblers and I gave a presentation yesterday to around 30 of them of my...
I came home at the beginning of June and I so want to go back. Northern Way for me next September. I know how you feel, Its quite normal, most of my Camino family feel the same.
I completed my1st Camino (SJPP) at the end of May and I never really, made it back'!. I'm 56, retired and I miss it every day. The 1st week on my return to the UK was really hard. I just wanted to go straight back out there. It was a fantastic adventure and next year I will walk the...
