There is a Decathlon City not too far from the historical center. Good place to pick up some inexpensive poles- Roahne

Taxi cost
FWIW...I took a taxi from A Coruna bus station to Ferrol in September (buses were sold out and it was a Sunday with a limited schedule) and it cost 70 Euro. I kindly refer to that as my personal idiot tax for not purchasing a bus ticket ahead of time. Hope that helps!- Roahne

Decathlon stores, Santiago - A Coruna
In A Coruna there was a Decathlon City (on Rua Real), which had a smaller selection than their bigger stores. I was able to get hiking poles at the shop and they did have some sleeping bags. There is a larger Decathlon outside the city but it was not easy to access via the bus.- Roahne
