Best of luck on your walk . Porto to Santiago was my very first Camino and last year I walked Lisbon to Porto , main differences I found versus the French way were as follows -Lisbon to Porto - Pilgrims dramatically fewer, choices of places to stay far fewer also very few Hostels and...
Ihave walked the Portuguese Camino , saw two dead snakes and had a fight late at night with one Mosquito ( now dead ) .It is quiet ,particularly the Lisbon to Porto
section but but lovely and a break from the frenzy of the
Camino France .
Buen camino
Like my Camino friends I have spent many nights on the Camino at various times of the year and have never booked, as suggested target in between busy towns where you will find better opportunities of accommodation also start out early each day , re SIM card if you are traveling from another...
Well Len you certainly opened a can of worms with your comments ! Can you imagine if there was no accommodation after a hard days walk , offer it all up as penance and it could mean more brownie points " up stairs " !!

When you get to...
Hi

Hi
This is my first contribution ,the only reason I have not contributed before now is due to the fact that I freely admit to being technologically handicapped.
I love to access this website and read Pilgrims contributions as it brings back so many great memories of days spent on the Camino...
