Has anybody walked from Roncesvalles to Irun? I would like to start my Camino in St. Jean and walk over the Pyrenees and then join up with the Camino Norte. Some of the links I have found seem to be several years old. I'm an older hiker but in good shape!

Wow thanks for your great advice. I see this is from awhile ago. Did you need to have a booklet stamped on the Camino Norte in order to stay at the albergues in the reverse direction. This is just what I would like to do but was not sure if the albergues would allow me if i was not headed to...
Hello-I'm planning on walking the Camino in April/May 2017.
I'm working on a plan B as I'm having some foot problems and may need to use a bicycle. Would anybody have ideas on how to extend a bicycle tour by piecing together the other caminos so I could fill my 6-8 weeks riding a bike?
