We were a group of 6 friends invited first night at La Trappa disused monastery then mixture of rifugis and small bed and breakfast also Lluc monastery. 10 days walking with a rest day at Soller.
Hi Marcel, I have also walked 4 Caminos since 2008. I also did the GR 221 Pedra en Sec in 2015.
It's a beautiful and scenic walk, also quite demanding with lots of height gain and loss in many stages. The only time I felt the same kind of Camino vibe was when staying at the monastery at Lluc...
Hi, my advice would be to base yourself somewhere and leave the walking as flexible as possible!
It means you only have to carry a day pack.
If you were to port your luggage each day to your next accommodation then this would compensate for taxis to and from your base!

Lovely place with great owners, we were a group of five friends that stayed there mid May.
Had breakfast and as we were leaving we were given water and a picnic lunch each!

I organise a walking trip every other year with my mates and we are based in Co. Durham. We have done the Camino Frances from Leon in 2008, the Camino Portugues from Porto in 2011 and the Camino Ingles last year from Ferrol.

You could also look at the Camino Ingles from Ferrol to Santiago. It is just over 120 kms which qualifies you for your Compostella! Can be done in 5 days walking. Buen Camino.
