    Hi, my advice would be to base yourself somewhere and leave the walking as flexible as possible! It means you only have to carry a day pack.     As Eiras hotel in Lires

    Lovely place with great owners, we were a group of five friends that stayed there mid May. Had breakfast and as we were leaving we were given water and a picnic lunch each! Very kind gesture.

    I organise a walking trip every other year with my mates and we are based in Co. Durham. We have done the Camino Frances from Leon in 2008, the Camino Portugues from Porto in 2011 and the Camino Ingles last year from Ferrol.     You could also look at the Camino Ingles from Ferrol to Santiago. It is just over 120 kms which qualifies you for your Compostella! Can be done in 5 days walking. Buen Camino.
