    Walking in early morning hours

    No way walking in the dark is very dangerous. The chance of falling and damaging something is to big I liked walking early morning starting soon as it got light. If it gets too hot, find an albergue and rest the remaining day. It's not a race.

    I had that concern too however I have been "practicing" a lot. I have walked over 17 miles a day, 12 is now normal for me. I live in Florida and it's the heat that gets me.     Starting in April 2017

    I am starting April 25th in Pamplona. Since I have only 30 days and I do not want to be rushed I think it is a good starting point for me. It is my first time but I have been drawn to the camino for years. I will be walking alone too.
