    In addition to he above there is also scaffolding above the altar but the altar is in full view. 8 December mass seemed much busier than it was for the Feast of Christ the King.

    Hi there. I spoke with staff at the cathedral who advised that the Botafumeiro would be used at 12 mass tomorrow (8 December). On the last feast day I think it was around 15 minutes before the mass time and a few pilgrims missed it because they arrived around 12 so probably best to arrive early...

    I spoke with security guards at cathedral who advised me that the botafumeioro would swing at 12 mass tomorrow 26 November which I believe is the feast of Christ the King. No guarantees but I thought I would share here. Buen Camino everyone :-)

    Express Bourricot vs. Train?

    Bus routes A1 and A2 were regular and went from Biarritz to Bayonne railway station for euro 1. I found bus and rail fairly easy to use. Routes on chronoplus.eu website. I took a pic of timetable at bus stop a few weeks ago. Attached to give you an idea of frequency.

    Some yes and some no.prob 40%yes at a guess for me so far . Some people I spoke with tried to only stay at albergues if there are washing and drying facilities.
