We are struggeling with some issues with images and attachments not loading on the forum. This is some left-over problems from the other day. We have back-ups of everything, so nothing is lost, we just need to link things up again so that it works. In short, we are working on it. Sorry! Ivar

Hi!
So my plan is to walk from Oloron to SJPP, and then walk the camino frances. I am a bit concerned that the CF will be crowded and hot. So, for both of those reasons I was thinking that the camino norte might be a nice change of pace.
Any thoughts on the weather comparing the two regions...
Hi!
I will be going on my first camino in mid/late June. I will be doing an early June training hike on the C&O canal. I'm thinking 50 miles in 3 days. Want to join? I will be backpacking, and bringing a tent a jetboil.
So I just found some 'ultralight' waterproof daypacks on ebay. There are a ton of choices. They are coming from china, but since they weigh less than a half of a pound, and I still have over a month before my trip, I think I'm good to go. Can't beat the price.
Sea to summit, and Osprey both...
Hi!
I will be hiking the CF very soon. Ideally I would like to bring a pack which is between 28-35 liters, and weighs less than 2 lbs. This would cost between $50-150
My go-to is my Osprey Ace 48. This pack is a bit over 3 lbs. It has a hood which I believe I could remove to shave some weight...
Hi!
I will be doing my first camino this summer. I am trying to decide if I want to start in Oloron or Saint Jean Pied de port. As I understand from the topo map, the France portion is the most climbing that you do on the way. Which route has less elevation change?
Which route did you enjoy...
