    The Embassy is very unlikely to be helpful as this is not their role. Many times a card reader or ATM is not working. Hopefully by simply alerting the bank that you had a difficulty and trying again with a different location, he will find it working again. Western Union is the parents best...

    We will be walking the Arogones /Frances starting early October. May follow the Camino Invierno for the final stretch. I like solitude, but The VPlata seemed a little too lonely. We decided against it in favor of the other.

    Has anyone had experience with Bluefield Lightweight Backpack ponchos sold on Amazon in the US? Supposedly similar to Altus, only lighter?
