    How does this route sound?

    Hi.. so I'm walking from sarria to Santiago and I was lucky enough to get this advice for my route.. have to admit the real long 1 scares me a bit.. Should I stick to this? Any advice greatly appreciated

    1st Camino booked

    So I finally booked my flights... I leave Dublin on the 26th April and fly to Santiago the plan is to make my way to sarria and start walking on the 27th... I have 1 week which is all I could manage... so if anyone has any tips I'd be really grateful and any idea of weather at that time too...

    Just wondering what your opinions on wind down time once finished the Camino are? I'm only walking from sarria to Santiago and planned on staying 1 night there but after reading comments somewhere else I'm wondering should I stay a little longer?     Washing clothes on the camino

    Ok... so I've read a lot on this forum and often hear people saying they rinsed clothes out and dried them too... how are you all doing this? Is there some kind of laundry service or am I being ridiculous even thinking that... is it just a bucket and soap Thanks again folks Paula

    cross on camino

    I have seen pictures of a cross drooped with what look like people's personal items.. can anyone tell me more about this? I presume people leave something behind when walking but what's the meaning behind it?
