Things change so quickly! I arrived in Sansol today and all advice changes! Turned away from my preferred Albergue as it wa full, and could only get a top bunk in the next. All beds are now full & pilgrims are being turned away. Now I’m considering booking ahead - the last thing I want to do.- Ken Lewis

Started the CF on Wednesday & now 4 days in. Apart from the pre-start night in SJPDP and the first night in Roncesvalles there’s been heaps of space. Leaving Sydney tonight
Hello fellow travellers. I leave SYD tonight and arrive in MAD tomorrow via Dubai. Anyone doing the same?? If all goes to plan I’ll be catching a train to Pamplona and staying overnight. Hi Pete I looked at the flights via Doha, much cheaper than Emirates but a long stopover. Shame you’ll be a week behind me. Sincere thanks to you all. I was planning to start training in January but by the sound of it I should start now. Arrive SJPDP to start a 5 week pilgrimage on about May 2nd. I keep quite fit for an old fella running about 5 days a week. But I’ve never hiked before, so any tips on converting my training to suit would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!- Ken Lewis
