Cycling gloves are great and some have gel padding if desired. Also, as others have stated, don't grip poles too tightly. Be sure to use the wrist straps as that if placed correctly, you can let the pole somewhat "swing" without much grip and thereby increase air circulation to hands.
My husband and I are walking Camino Frances (from Burgos on 9/12) and our son has decided to walk Primitivo (from Oviedo on 9/26), We hope to meet up in Melide and finish together! I need to build in a few rest/tour days so we can sync up. What other towns/sites (between Burgos and Melide)...
While we would like to complete the entire Camino Frances, we are limited on time. We will be in Madrid on Sep 12 and leave Oct 10. We are considering

Goofy question...On roads where you share with cars, do you walk with or against traffic ? I assume sign posts are on same side While I won’t be running on the camino, as a runner , I run against traffic for safety. Thanks!
We'll be arriving in Santiago and were planning to take a bus to Sarria. Have heard that there were more bus options from airport vs. Santiago bus station and that's what we're trying to figure out. We'll be in Santiago center
Thank
Thank you for sharing! I start on 10/2 on my first Camino and also from Sarria as that I am also time constrained. Your post was very reassuring. A logistics question for you, how did you get to Sarria?
Hello! We plan on making our way from Santiago to Sarria to begin our pilgrimage on 10/2. We understand we need to go from Santiago to Lugo and then transfer to Sarria. Question: should we go to the airport or the bus station in Santiago to get the bus? Thank you!
