Sounds like an excellent plan! All my walks have fallen during Semana Santa. Friday and Saturday of Easter weekend make great rest days, most small towns are buttoned up for those days.
Relax, breathe, wherever you go there you are, feel like stopping, stop and rest. Lose the schedule and do what you can. Make yourself happy, enjoy the view. Take a nap when you find a good spot. My biggest struggle is between my ears.
In hindsight, it was the first day of my first Camino ever, after 6 other Camino walks since then, I must say the first couple of days of any of those walks has been difficult for me, till body and mind align.

Unless it is really cold, I put on my sandals and take off my pant legs, though I am usually in shorts regardless of the time of year. When I find a good spot to get out of the rain, I get out of the rain.
Ditched my keen Targhees (sp?) ,bought a pair of plain old Skechers for $40, just a basic tennis shoe, this being my 6th Camino walk, was the best my feet ever felt, no blisters, no sore feet at the end of the day, just wore thin running sox.
Not enough pockets for me in jeans, cargo shorts and pants accommodate the junk I carry better, 2 zip off leg cargo pants + 1set of zip off legs= less bulk and weight
