    Cathedral Closed...Is the Camino still worth it?

    Yes the Cathedral was beautiful and much appreciated and the Pilgrim Mass was moving even though Boafumeiro was not used. But what I found special along The Way were the quite hours of prayer as I walked each day.

    It’s too quick a pace to get from Porto to Santiago in 8 days. 10 works fine. Maybe consider Tui to Santiago.

    Is it easy to cross from coastal to central path?

    Senta Litoral from Porto Cathedral to Vila do Conte and then to the central in Barcellos. Loved every minute of it!!!

    For those reading this and thinking of other routes where fear of heights might be an issue — on the Camino Portugues, the bridge (Puente Internacional de Tuy) from Valenca Portugal to Tui, Spain might necessitate a Taxi alternative.
