    We stayed at Hotel Parma when we walked the Norte. Nice modern place with breakfast. It also had A/C which was a treat while walking in the summer months.

    I have walked 3 Caminos and each time I get a new pair of Antra LonePeak Mid's. They don't need break in and are usually done by the end

    When we finished the Camino Francis we treated ourselves to the Parador. When we arrived we were upgraded (unknown why) to a room over looking the square. We sat on the balcony for two days watching pilgrims finish their journey. We also had free bagpipe music for two days.

    I've worn 3.5 mid's on the Frances, 4.0's on the Via Francegina and Del Norte without any issues. I'm 6'0 225lbs with a size 14. I have the 4.5's now for local walking and think they are the best yet. (They are still on sale for $84.00 at Altra) The only thing I do not like is the traction...
