Santiago to Madrid trains this spring??
I am confused. When I look to see what the train options are from Santiago to Madrid in April, I only see two options and both are a 9 hour trip, changing trains part-way with a layover (Rail Europe). Yet many sites say there are several direct trains daily and the trip is only a bit over 3...- Mito

Invierno in March?
Does anyone have experience on the Invierno in March? I'm planning to finally "finish" the Camino I began in 2011 from Astorga to Santiago next month. I tried in 2022 and ended up with Covid LOL. I want to avoid the Sarria to end busy-ness (although I'm guessing March isn't as bad as peak...- Mito

Alternatives to Anton Abad in Villafranca this week?
I will be hiking through from Belorado this week and was hoping to stay at Anton Abad before crossing the mountain. But it doesn't open until the 15th!! I would like to connect with other pilgrims for that longer walk the following day. Advice for where to stay instead? Thanks all!- Mito
