Thanks so much for your reply. I did have my English to Spanish translation on. I will go with the majority and not worry about a reservation at this time of the year. We are very excited to head out next week from Seattle to Madrid and onward! Blessings to you all!

Hi - I am struggling between wearing running shoes and trail runners. REI folks say I should wear trail runners because I am carrying a pack, 10 pounds. However, my Asics running shoes are way more comfortable. Do you think I will be OK on the trails without the heavier lugs on trail runners...
Hi - I am a 65 year old female and this is my first trek. I get cold easily and am wondering if a good down vest under my rain jacket will be adequate or should I bring a packable down jacket instead of the vest? I also have a smartwool base layer.
