Bag transport in November
We are currently walking and are in Santo Domingo. We originally planned to carry our backpacks, but my husband is almost 83, has become a bit stooped and he finds carrying his pack painful and difficult. Best way back to UK
Flying back to the UK last time (2019) was a nightmare. Santiago was locked in by fog. Take-off at 9 was delayed until 10.30. Missed connecting flight to Heathrow. Stood in a queue for 2 hours to reschedule. No one wanting to reschedule was being seen. A group including us protested...- Teez

Light weight seats, chairs, stools
We are planning two Caminos back to back next year - the Portuguese and then the Francais from Logrono to Santiago. We have previously done Pamplona to Santiago in 2019. My husband will be 82 and I will be 76. I can quite happily sit on the ground for a rest and get up again with no problem...- Teez
