    Hi E, I have a few thoughts. 1 use walking poles. 2 it is very easy to send your backpack ahead each day if you need to lighten your load.3 vehicle transport is usually readily available; you can go by car or bus while your friends walk and simply organise a place to meet at the end of the day...
