Etiquette for shared paths
I read these and similar posts before selecting which Camino to do. As a cyclist I ruled out the Frances because of the obvious walker-cyclist animosity, and chose the VdlP. There are so few pilgrims on the route that cyclists and walkers always greet each other cordially. Worth considering...- James H

VdlP via Sanabres or Continue along to the Frances
My wife and I cycled Seville to SdeC via the VdlP and the Sanabres. Fantastic cycling. We chose the Sanabres because of the crowds on the Frances as there is constant cyclist vs walker friction on the busy stretches. The Sanabres was perfect. V quiet till the last day into SdeC.- James H

Guide to the Piemont Route?
Hello everyone. I am planning to cycle from Narbonne Plage to Irun and then on to SdeC via the Norte in August/September 2019. How/why is VdlP difficult?
If a humble cyclist might venture an opinion...my wife and I cycled Seville to SdeC last September. Temperatures were mid 30s every day and we didn’t see a cloud till Galicia. With bikes we were able to do 70kms per day. With that sort of range, we could almost spend the night in a town with...- James H

Cycling VdlP: prevailing winds?
A quick question for all the VdlP experts on here: my wife and I plan to cycle the VdlP, leaving Seville mid September 2018. Is there a prevailing wind direction? It makes a big difference on a bike. I am guessing/hoping that if there is a prevailing wind, it will be S, SW or at worst W, ie off...- James H
