    Hiking Shoes, or Hiking Boots?

    MI'M on the wet, muddy Camino now and I am SO happy to have my Chako hiking boots! I couldn't imagine doing this in trainers or my Teva hiking sandals. Just my 2 cents! Sandi ps been walking since the 27th of April not a single blister! Only wearing one pair of wool socks that I air out at night...

    I'm in Abu Dhabi and we were suppose to fly to Heathrow last night, of course it was cancelled. We are now rebooked to fly to Casablanca on Friday night, take train to Tangier, then ferry to Gibraltar, not sure how to get to Pamplona from there... any suggestions? I've come to the conclusion...

    Class of 2010

    Will arrive April 25th and have to be back at work May 30th, hoping to walk the entire Frances route from SJPDP to Santiago in those 33 days or so. This will be my first walk. Training wearing hiking boots, start with backpack in February. Can't wait!!!
